Global Challenges

MIT Solve’s Global Challenges seek social entrepreneurs using technology to solve today’s most pressing problems in Climate, Economic Prosperity, Health, and Learning. Submissions are open from February to May each year. Selected innovators join the Solver class, receive a 9-month support program including coaching, unrestricted funding, and featuring at Solve Challenge Finals and Solve at MIT.

Custom Challenges

Custom challenges are powered by MIT Solve in collaboration with external organizations to provide prize funding to entrepreneurs and innovators around the world. These challenges are run year-round and often include support programs for finalists and winners.

Solv[ed]

Solv[ED] is designed to spark a sense of agency in young people aged 24 and under, encouraging, inspiring, and supporting them to become problem-solvers in their community and the world. Young people will be equipped with knowledge, tools, and resources to practice problem identification and solution design.

Indigenous Communities Fellowship

MIT Solve’s Indigenous Communities Fellowship is designed to support Indigenous innovators, working in the United States or Canada, who are building upon traditional knowledge and technology to meet the social, environmental, and economic goals of their communities. Fellows also join the Solver class, receiving the same support along with participation in the US Equity summit.
